I'm excited and grateful to have my solo exhibit Welcome home! in the Village of Rhinebeck.
No matter where we are in the world, home is that special place where we feel supported and loved; where we experience warmth and happy memories. My eldest son Paul, who is on the autism spectrum, turns 39 in September. He is fortunate to have found at home at Anderson Center for Autism, where he has thrived these past 23 years. To celebrate the occasion, I am donating a significant portion of my sales from this show to support Anderson Center.*
The Village of Rhinebeck holds a special place in my heart, as it became the first Autism Supportive Community in the region, an initiative designed to help make the community more welcoming for people with autism and other disabilities. Special thanks to Corcoran Country Living, for generously hosting this exhibit. A real estate office in the heart of Rhinebeck is just the perfect setting for a warm "Welcome home!"
The original artwork featured in this online gallery can be viewed in person at Corcoran Country Living, 51-3 East Market Street in Rhinebeck, NY from September 1 through 30, 2023. In addition to the original artwork which can be purchased through this website, a selection of framed art prints displayed on-site and the Welcome Home Art Print Gallery can be purchased at affordable prices (not available online). Please email susanangelesnyc@gmail.com for more information.
*40% of original art sales (both online and on-site) and 30% of art print sales from the collection on exhibit through September 30th (on-site only) will be donated to the Anderson Foundation for Autism.
